Skissedilla #189 og #191

First up #189! You can see the sketch and the design team members layouts here. I made the background with metal dies as a mask and sprayed with glimmermist. Inside the circles I have used my favorite pens, the Promarkers. The picture gives me a feeling of peace, and so I put a saying on the top right corner: "Peace is not the absence of noice, trouble or hard work; It is to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart"

This is my take on sketch #191 at Skissedilla. See more here for a chance to win a nice price too :) On this layout I have only drawn and used stamps. I used my kids crayons to color the leaves. The letters are from Studio Calico.

I wish everyone a happy and creative new year :)

Skissedilla #188

This LO is made after this week's sketch at Skissedilla! I think I'm in love with butterflies, they seem to end up on every page ;) And also paper-tape. The kraft stickers have been lying in a box for so long, and finally they were perfect! Pictures are from september when I went to Riga with a friend. Thanks for popping by my blog :) Have a nice and creative week :)

Guest designer at Skissedilla! Yes, I'm scrapping again!!

What an honor to be asked to design layouts for all of december's challenges! It was the kick I needed to start scrapping again. It's been a year and a half since my last blog update.... I started with this "simple" layout, with a favorite picture of me and my daughter. The cut outs have been colored with black promarker to make a contrast that would go with the photo. You can see this weeks challenge and more at Skissedilla
If you enter, you can win a RAK from me :) Hope to inspire you with this cool sketch:

Beæret og stolt svarte jeg ja på forespørselen om å scrappe et bilde som skulle gis i dåpsgave. Resultatet ble slik :-) Håper nå at det faller i smak hos mottakeren....
Har brukt masse blomster (for en gangs skyld) og papir fra Prima, samt klistremerker fra Panduro.

My sister

Well, it was about time I made a layout about my beautiful sister. I was inspired the picture´s contrasts. And I love this green, sharp color! The placement of the rectangles and the cutting of corners are lifted from a card in the Bella Blvd blog.

Recycled wall paper!

All the flowers on this layout have been cut from a piece of wall paper that I originally intended to use on a wall in my home, but found too "messy" in a large scale and dropped it. Because I found the cherry blossoms so pretty, I decided they could be used on various projects - and some ended up on this layout. I´m rather pleased with the way it turned out.
I also love this picture of my little girl playing with her feet not long after she discovered that she actually had them. She was about three months at this time. Not long after, she began sucking on her big toes - too cute!
I used some decor brads in the middle of some of the flowers, and some butterflies from MM. The letters are from AC and Dymo.

Thanks to all of you who visits my blog and for leaving much appreciated comments :-)

Stor badeglede!
